Online Dating Sites

This crossroad is ripped from the headlines... sort of, if you consider my Facebook wall posts to be "headlines".

Many of my facebook friends seem to have some strong opinions when it comes to online dating sites and the people who use them. I'm extremely interested in this topic because I'm working on a new project focusing on people who are trying to find love online.

I'm a big fan, but I want to know what you think. Did you meet your sweetie online?

I got news for you. What we did was not generated from an "online dating site". Nothing even comes close. We communicated through emails, phone calls, and texts, but not any desperate $19.99 a month dating service. Online dating sites are such a joke. Everyone submits photos that are either doctored up, or not even them. Me, on the other hand, wanted to see the goods in person.
