Becoming a new parent means adjusting to a whole new life. Fortunately, there's a huge learning curve and lots of people to help you along the way. Sure, much of that advice is unsolicited and can be somewhat annoying, but every once and a while you gets some gems.

I recently found an article in a magazine that was definitely worth sharing with other parents. What resources or advice have you learned that saved you from the brink of insanity?

Snoring

To snore or not to snore... that is the question.

If you're a peaceful sleeper, the simple thought of snoring may completely annoy you. This described me perfectly... that is, until I reached my third trimester. Now, I'm the person with the snoring problem. There's simply nothing I can do about it, which got me thinking...

Are people who snore obligated to do something to stop it? Should we be constantly trying new products to help calm the commotion? Or, should we just do nothing, despite the evil glare from our spouses in the middle of the night? What do you think?

Baggage Woes

When it comes to airlines, we all have our own horror stories. Late/canceled flights, outrageous fees and poor service are typically at the top of that list. This is definitely frustrating, but somehow we've come to expect it. Items specifically stolen from your baggage is a whole other matter. Unfortunately, this just happened to me.

We have to draw the line somewhere. Tell me about your baggage woes. Let's call out these airlines in hopes of changing the system.

Discipline and Kids

There's a new study conducted by Tulane University claiming children who are spanked are generally more agressive in life. The study has been plastered all over the news lately, and it's literally driving me crazy!

With a baby on the way, Ryan and I have talked a lot about how we want to raise our son, so this topic is very relevant to me. I'd love to have your take on how you've chosen to discipline your kids. What works in your family? What has failed miserably? Do you agree with this study?

Cyber Safety

So, the other day, my husband and I had an interesting conversation about cyber safety. Of course, his idea of keeping safe online is not releasing any personal information whatsoever. I think we all should be careful, but the idea of not revealing personal information online is foreign to me. I mean, isn't that what makes the internet so interesting? How am I going to sleep at night if my friends aren't giving me a play-by-play of their personal lives through twitter?

Seriously though, we can obviously take this too far. In this video, we'll take a quick quiz to see to see how well we're doing when it comes to socializing online safety.
